SCORE provides a wide variety of seminars and presentations on business related subjects. The following schedule is a sample of current classes that are planned. You can register by simply calling the office and then put the class on your calendar. We will have handouts at the class and additional SCORE documents for you to take. Of course if the subject interests you, we are always happy to visit with you on the Internet or at the office.   Note there are two primary locations for the classes, please be sure to check the location specific to the class you are interested in attending.  Primary locations are as follows;

JUN 11 - SIMPLE MARKET RESEARCH TECHNIQUES FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
This workshop will cover a variety of simple ways a small business can conduct market research to determine the effectiveness of the advertising mix used; find out if a market exists for a new product, measure customer satisfaction, or discover how to attract more customers. Before introducing a new product or advertising do some basic research to see if a market exists for it. This workshop and the handout can help you learn more about the target audience you want to serve and save you some money in the process.

Speaker: Dr Bob Worthington was the head of the Advertising degree program in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications at NMSU. He serves as a business consultant for SCORE . Worthington is also president of a national non-profit aviation association which relies heavily on marketing techniques to promote itself.
